吉米老師前言：《歡樂頌2》已經播出三分之二，每次的劇情高潮一播出，都不免會掀起一場話題風浪。邱瑩瑩因為不是處女而被甩，究竟女友是否是處女對一個男人而言重不重要呢？吉米老師帶大家來解析。
處女是否仍然是當今中國女性的珍貴資產
五美一台戲的《歡樂頌2》播得正火，劇中的幾對CP也在最大程度上滿足了吃瓜群眾的八卦屬性。然而，最近邱瑩瑩和應勤這一對兒卻引起了爭議。在電視劇中，「小兩口」本來相處得不錯，大家也挺看好，結果卻因為「處女」問題分手。
這一話題甚至引起了BBC的強勢圍觀
中國最火的電視劇《歡樂頌2》中的這一情景引發了一波討論：處女是否仍然是當今中國女性的珍貴資產。
The scene from China's biggest soap opera right now, Ode to Joy 2, has triggered much discussion on whether virginity is still a prized asset for women in modern China.
《歡樂頌》可以說是《慾望都市》的含蓄版本，很受女性觀眾歡迎，該劇聚焦大城市中女性的愛情、事業、友誼和面臨的困境等方面。
The show, a less risque version of Sex and the City, is popular among women for its focus on romance, careers, friendships and the difficulties women face in the big city.
在這一幕中，邱瑩瑩宴請大家，順便把男朋友應勤介紹給姐妹們，然而卻意外被抖摟出來和前任發生過關係。
In the scene, she holds a dinner party to introduce her boyfriend to her friends, but the evening turns dramatic after her neighbour accidentally exposes her past relationship.
邱瑩瑩和應勤分手了，因為邱瑩瑩不是處女，所以應勤覺得她不自愛的同時更是對他的一種欺騙。
Ying qin broke up with Qiu ying ying, because Qiu ying ying is not a virgin. and he thinks Qiu ying ying didn't have self-respect and lied to him.
面對這樣一個問題，邱瑩瑩自己也很後悔。之後她更是「好心」相勸安迪，讓她一定要把第一次留給能和自己結婚生子，過一輩子的男人。

BBC同時關注起了中國的性教育問題
性教育在中國的現狀堪憂，經常出現男教師在課堂上跳過女性生殖系統的知識細節，而讓學生們自學。而家長也很少跟孩子們分享性教育方面的信息。
Sex education in China is often poor. There are stories of male biology teachers skipping details of the female reproductive system in class and asking students to learn it by themselves. And parents very rarely share information about sex with their children.
這也意味著，電視劇對於觀眾價值觀的形成很有影響力。對於年輕觀眾，特別是年輕女性觀眾，電視劇是她們了解性方面的知識以及改變看法的窗口。
That means TV dramas are very influential in shaping audiences' values. They are windows for young audiences, especially young women, to understand sex and sexuality and the ways views are changing.
處女問題的雙標
Double standards on virginity
BBC也就這個問題進行了採訪。一位名叫紫銀（音）的影視助理出品人就認為，這個話題在21世紀過時了，電視劇拿處女問題博眼球很「噁心」，在現代城市中，女性更加獨立、解放。
Zi Yin, a Shanghai-based film assistant producer, told the BBC that even debating the topic was old-fashioned in the 21st Century. She thought it was "disgusting" for the show to make an issue of it. In modern cities, women are more independent and liberated.
同樣，也有觀眾持不同看法，比如電視劇的粉絲裴子夜（音）就表示，如果男朋友保持貞潔，他有理由要求他的女朋友保持貞潔。
問題就在於，男性面對這個問題時，是否「嚴於待人，寬於律己」地採取了雙重標準。
But not everyone agrees the virginity debate is over. One of Ode to Joy's female fans, Ziye Pei, told the BBC it was perfectly reasonable for a boyfriend who was a virgin himself to require his girlfriend to be so.
The only problem, she said, was if it was a double standard and the man expected chastity from a woman but not himself.
Someone questioned why there wasn't gender equality when it came to chastity, but another said she couldn't accept Ying Qin's comment on women who had sex before marriage.
《歡樂頌2》的劇情還在推進，應勤和邱瑩瑩也可能重歸於好，只不過關於處女的問題，可能還要討論下去，無論是在影視劇中，還是在真實生活中。
