旺旺集團副董事長胡志強昨天致函英國《金融時報》總編輯，就該報指稱旺旺中時媒體集團接受大陸國台辦指示、要旗下媒體支援特定參選人一事表達遺憾，並告知對方迄今不回應旺旺中時集團的席佳琳的聯繫，因此決定提告。
據悉，《金融時報》大中華區特派員席佳琳（Kathrin Hille）目前人在台北。《中國時報》和中天電視台多次聯絡席女士，希望給她機會對她的報導做出說明和澄清。
中時記者嘗試了兩次，第一次並沒有接通。第二次電話接通了。記者向她說明來意，她以英文表示，I have to interrupt you，接著她改以流利的中文回答：我現在不方便接受採訪，隨即將電話掛斷。

我很遺憾通知您，《金融時報》2019年7月17日所刊登文章《台灣初選凸顯對中國政治影響的擔憂》，內容包含了許多關於我們媒體集團的資訊，這些資訊並不正確且對我們造成巨大的傷害。
關於這篇報導我們從未接受過任何訪問，報導發佈後連續幾天也都無法聯繫上作者。
我們別無選擇，只能將此事告上法院。但我們仍歡迎有機會交換意見。您若同意，我們甚至願派人前往倫敦，希望能與貴報和作者會面。
我真誠地希望我們能盡快解決問題。

Dear Sir,
I regret to inform you that your article ＂Taiwan primaries highlight fears over Chinas political influence＂ on Financial Times, 17 July, 2019, contains a lot of information about our media group which are incorrect and produces tremendous damage to us.
We were never interviewed about this report and, after the publication, we have tried for days to contact the writer with no success.
We have no choice but to take the issue to court. However, we still welcome a chance to exchange views. If you so agree, we would even send someone to London for the meeting, hopefully with both the paper and the writer.
I do sincerely hope we can solve the problem as soon as possible.
